Worms glorious worms

Ready for the phoosh of another can opening???

Felt the need to comment on yesterday...

Totally agree with DD (and others) on the waste issue. My point is why add insult to injury by 'wasting' another £5 mill on someone who doesn't need it and, sorry, doesn't deserve it, and wouldn't even if they'd killed her. Anyone remember why she was in hospital in the first place? Hurt her back while 'cavorting' (with her husband)...say no more. Practice safe sex is what I say!

Susan re agents. The wisdom appears to be 3 agents at once and tell each of them that you are approaching two others. 3 agents spreads the bets a little but only 3 says 'focussed' to them, creates a little competition but is professional rather than 'splatter-gun'. I'm going for 3!!! Then another three...then...

I have given instructions that if I collapse at the gym, I am to be left to die quickly there, rather than be taken to the local hospital to catch something and die slowly. I'd rather drive myself home where the local hospital is at least one of the best in the country.

Oh, and just to let you all know...they do have the internet in Germany...at least in the big cities!

And for today's can. If you were a famous TV presenter, well known for your serious news approach and incisive questoning, why oh why oh why would you air your 'dirty laundry', especially of the undergarment variety, in public?

M&S scandal indeed! Well I've just bought a new girlie set to go off to London with tomorrow. Who know's it would be funny if I bump into Sammie there!

I've been a bit quiet of late but I've been lurking.

Been to my salsa class tonight and it gets better and better. The more I learn the more fun it is! I can reccommend it for having a laugh and doing a bit of extra excerise for anyone that enjoys a bit of a boogie.

Please excuse me for any absence over the next few days but I'm gonna be a bit busy with an army of golf course designers.

Luv you all loads

Well of course Moose, it's no secret I am a great admirer of Mr "my pants don't fit" Paxman! He says that he never intended for this to be made public, but I think it's great and good for a laugh! Incidentally, I agree with him (well, I would) but I have noticed that MrS's socks from M&S don't last the way they used to. And after a few washes they look as though they are ready for the bin.

And, yes, of course it was silly of me to intimate that if you go to Germany, you'll be off the radar! My old brain cells are not quite what they used to be!

Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone!!

How are we all today? Sitting here at 1am (yeah, still not got the sleep under control!!)and himself stumbles through with Charis, who has saturated herself, wee soul. So - had to strip her, rake around for another pair of jim-jams, dress her (she was still sleeping!), find bedding and change her bed. And guess where himself was!?! Hmmmmm.

My bro hasn't worked since before Christmas and is making no effort to look for another job - we waved his rent this month thinking he'd have had a job by now ... but now he says he's going back to Mum and Dad's!!! Like there are going to be any more jobs in a wee fishing town compared to the 4th biggest city in Scotland!?!

The house is like the Forth Road Bridge - start at one end, get to the other and you have to start all over again!

Ok ... yes .. I'm in a grump ... so best go before I have you all throwing things at me!!

Huggles,

Susan <><

Sorry everyone, I missed the Party...it was so nice to be thought of though... actually the bob was OK the highlights went a bit wrong so I had to stay...then things happened at work and then wee one was home from school, so by the time all of that was sorted the dregs of creme de Menthe was warm, and the sticky winged one was away with the fairies and Monsiuer DD was snoozing in the corner... I didn't want to disturb.
Glad you all had a good time though. I'm up for the next one - promise.
Well done Moose, my you know whats are crossed for you.

lots of love

It's Burns Night again this week - maybe a picnic by Loch Ness again?!

Haggis. I need haggis. Desperately. I love the stuff but my suggestion to Mrs Moose that we we order some in (organic decent stuff delivered directly from somewhere north of the border, of course!) was met with a severely wrinkled nose and distinct disapproval. So looks like I'm going to miss out. Aah!!!

Evening!

Didn't end up in the Smoke - Madam put pay to that - not happy - deep breath Samantha...

Ho hum....

Sorry Lindyloo - not going to be there...

BUT how lovely was the weather today - I wore sunglasses all the way to work - yay!

I need my bed...

Can't get into the worms, sorry...

So - who's up for a Burns Lunch (Supper time will be too late!!) on Friday? Wouldn't want to deprive the Moose of his haggis!

Morning all!

Susan - count me in for Friday! However, can I just have the neeps and tatties? I just cannot eat haggis, so everyone else can get a little of my share, if that's o.k! I will, of course, partake of a wee dram, simply to toast the Bard. After that, I'm up for a real drink, say a Cosmopolitan?

Hazel - I have left a birthday greeting next door for Badger - I hope the BP let it through! Hope he has a great day - will you be spoiling him this evening? By that I mean will you be preparing him a delicious meal?!

Hope everyone is o.k. Be back later.

Hey pickles!

Thank you so much ChrissieS! He's not getting anything on a plate later, he's gonna have to work for it! He has yet to open anything from me, but hopefully he'll like his Dylan Moran dvds...and the other thingamajig wrapped in lace etc but that's not for here...

Anyhoo, cannot abide whisky, so as long as I promise not to sully the Haggis with such a vile concoction, I'll just have a bit of tommy ketch on my neeps and tattoos please.

The Facebook bloggers are trying to organise a meet up for lunch time on Sat May 24th at Chris's pub in Surrey, The Mulberry. Anyone else up for it?

Hazel,

I left my message for the Badger next door, hours ago, so I am assuming it's not going through.

With the kind permission of Moose, this is roughly what it said:

"Just want to wish the Badger a happy birthday. (I was going to say happy birthday to Hazel's badger, but I knew that didn't sound right!)"

Now, is there anything in that message that could offend?

Och Aye.

They'd probably decided that there were too many badger birthday mentions already! Thank you anyway!!!

It is a good job however, that his nickname isn't Beaver.

If anyone fancies the Mulberry but doesn't want to add their name to Facebook, I can add them! Pppplllleeeaaaasssseeee come!

Yes - it would be good if the Scottish contingent could go together - I was going to fly from Inverness, but can lake the trip to Prestwick or Glasgow.

Susan - I am VERY tempted at the thought of a trip to the Mulberry! Given that we do have lurkers, would you be able to give me more details by email? I do believe MrS may think I have taken leave of my senses, but hey, that's me!

Hope everyone else is o.k. I can't wait for the light mornings and, hopefully, better weather!
