Get all the facts

A thought occurred to me today that certain things in life could be seriously misconstrued without the full facts, even when reported accurately and factually...

I was in the jacuzzi today with two bikini-clad beauties. The nurse was on my left while the dancer was on my right. I enjoyed the jacuzzi more than I have any jacuzzi in recent times.

All factually accurate.

But it doesn't really tell the full story. Unfortunately!

Moose, yes, I know what you mean (I think!). We can take out of any situation what we THINK may have happened ..... but we won't necessarily be right!

This morning I am thinking about our bloggers who are really going through the mill, namely Lyndyloo and DD. Lyndyloo, you know we are here for you any time. DD - what a horrible wait you must have had - I'm so glad you have good news.

To everyone else: we are all struggling at some point, but I know from personal experience, reading this blog makes me see that I am not alone. The last couple of weeks for me have been very difficult, but just sharing day to day stuff with everyone here has helped tremendously.

Hope this doesn't sound like I'm losing the plot!!

Moose you lucky thing,

I know people who would pay good money for an experience like that! ;-))

By the way how did you know the one on the left was a nurse? Did she check your pulse? Was the dancer high kicking or something or is it all down to Jacuzzi small talk? ;-))) Is there a book on such etiquette, may be an interesting read!

Keep smiling

Chrissie S, thank you for your concern, but honestly I was less worried than my missus (who I'm sure at one point was nailing the lid down on me!). I have a much more laid back attitude than her, I knew that if there was a problem I had hopefully found it early enough, and you know that most men handle that area of their anatomy much more than they need to, and that my hospital appointment wouldn't take long due to the nature of the problem.
Please keep your kind thoughts for others in more need than I, but I thank you for your concern.

DD - do men handle that part of their anatomy a lot? Never!

Chrissie, I'm told it's the warmest region of a man's anatomy and they are keeping their hands warm! In contrast the coldest part of a woman's anatomy is her feet at bedtime!

Just checking in, and what a conversation to drop in on ... for once I have no comment to make except that Mr L obviously doesn't handle his enough as his hands are always freezing!

Lyndyloo - thinking of you and your folks.

Analog, but even that can sometimes be nice I'm sure!

Someone just sent me this. Knowing that at least one of you plays golf I thought I'd share it ...

Who says we're not conservation conscious?
A recent study found the average golfer walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found golfers drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer a year.
That means, on average, golfers get about 41 miles to the gallon.
